MA’AN Development Center, in collaboration with several international partners, distributed 16,713 hot meals benefiting 49,858 individuals in various areas of the Gaza Strip during December, as part of humanitarian efforts to support displaced and affected families due to the aggression.
In cooperation with "Action Aid" and funded by "DANIDA," 7,836 meals were distributed to 2,171 displaced families (a total of 11,377 individuals) in Deir Al-Balah, Al-Zawaida, and Khan Yunis. Additionally, 2,886 hot meals were distributed to 2,885 displaced families (a total of 14,227 individuals) in partnership with "Action for Humanity."
Within the framework of the partnership with "Good Neighbors-Japan" and funded by the Japanese people, 2,185 meals were distributed to 941 displaced families (a total of 4,902 individuals) in Al-Zawaida. Moreover, with support from the oPt Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF), the center distributed 3,806 meals, benefiting 19,352 individuals in Deir Al-Balah, Al-Zawaida, and Khan Yunis.
These efforts reaffirm the commitment of the Ma’an Development Center to supporting affected families and enhancing their resilience amid the difficult humanitarian conditions in Gaza Strip.
