MA'AN Provides Humanitarian Aid to 1,291 Affected Families in Gaza with Support from CARE International

With support from CARE International, the MA’AN Development Center implemented a series of relief interventions to meet the needs of affected families in the Gaza Strip, from January until the end of April 2025. These interventions included the distribution of thousands of essential aid parcels, benefiting 1,291 families.

The Center distributed 2,069 Parcels Washing Sets, which included 266 Laundry Buckets (10–12 liters), 265 Garbage Plastic Bags (20 liters, 1 kg), and 1,538 Gallons of Water (jerry cans, 20 liters), aiming to promote hygiene and public health in response areas.
The aid also included 256 Eating Kits and 258 Kitchen Supply Kits, in addition to 1,058 Family Dignity Kits and 230 Flashlights, to ensure a minimum level of dignified living conditions.
Regarding Bedding, 4,301 Winter Blankets, 5,848 Pillows, 4,205 Mattresses, and 1,102 Mats were distributed, enhancing comfort in displacement conditions.
The Center also distributed Sealing Of Kits, including 764 Solar-Powered Lamps, 829 Ropes, 1,599 Tapes, 440 Plastic Films, and 1,480 Tarpaulin Sheets, with the goal of improving shelter conditions and enhancing protection against weather elements.
These interventions are part of MA’AN’s ongoing efforts to support Gaza Strip and provide the foundations for humanitarian resilience amid the exceptional circumstances facing the region.
