MA’AN Development Center, in partnership with World Vision, carried out an environmental awareness activity in the Khillet al-Miyya community in Hebron Governorate, as part of the Green Palestine project.

As part of the "Green Palestine: Promoting a Sustainable Environment for Children, Their Families, and Communities in Areas B and C of the West Bank" project, the MA’AN Development Center, in partnership with World Vision (an international child-focused organization), organized an environmental awareness activity in the Khalet-Al-May, community in Hebron Governorate, targeting children. The activity was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
During the event, children expressed their ideas and environmental messages through drawings that addressed themes such as nature protection and biodiversity. They also participated in tree planting around the area—an engaging hands-on experience aimed at raising environmental awareness and fostering a sense of responsibility among the younger generation.
This activity is part of the project’s broader efforts to involve young age groups in community-based environmental action and to affirm the role of children in leading change toward a more sustainable future in one of the areas most affected by climate change in Palestine.
